Manufacturing Payroll Average Wage
Manufacturing payroll average wage is the weekly average wage and is measured as the total manufacturing payrolls divided by the number of manufacturing payroll jobs. Under most State laws or regulations, wages include bonuses, stock options, severance pay, profit distributions, cash value of meals and lodging, tips and other gratuities, and, in some States, employer contributions to certain deferred compensation plans such as 401(k) plans.
