Manufacturing Payroll Jobs
According to the US BLS, manufacturing payroll jobs is a total derived from quarterly contribution reports filed by almost every employer in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. These data count only filled jobs, whether full or part-time, temporary or permanent, by place of work. Because the QCEW data is based on an establishment census which counts only filled jobs, it is likely that a multi-job holder will be counted two or more times in QCEW data.
